Do we use cookies?

Not for tracking. We do not run Google Analytics, ad pixels, retargeting tags, or any cross-site tracking on this website. What we do use is a small amount of local browser storage so the site remembers your preferences, plus a sign-in session cookie that only applies to our own private admin pages.

What is stored in your browser

• Theme preference — remembers light or dark mode. Stored locally, never sent to us.
• Language preference — remembers English or Spanish. Stored locally, never sent to us.
• Translation notice dismissal — remembers that you closed the Spanish translation notice for this browsing session.
• Announcement dismissal — remembers that you closed a site announcement bar.
• Plan builder draft — keeps your in-progress plan selections so you do not lose them if you reload. Stored locally until you clear it or submit.
• Admin sign-in session — only created when the site owner signs in to the private admin area. Visitors never receive it.

These are strictly necessary or preference items. You can clear them any time through your browser's "clear site data" or privacy settings, and the site will keep working with its default settings.

Do we need a cookie consent banner?

No. Consent banners are required for non-essential cookies, mainly analytics and advertising cookies, and mostly under EU and UK law. We serve clients in the United States, we run no analytics or advertising cookies, and everything we store is either strictly necessary or a preference you actively chose by clicking a setting. That falls under the exemption for strictly necessary and user-requested storage, so we show you this page instead of a banner nobody reads.

If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will add a real consent banner with the ability to reject non-essential cookies before those tools load, and we will update this page.

Third-party services on this site

A few outside services are involved when you use certain features. None of them place advertising cookies on informic.app:

• Our backend provider stores form submissions and handles the admin sign-in session.
• Our email provider sends the notification and any reply.
• An AI provider generates chat assistant answers from the text you send.
• On the /qr business-card link only, an IP geolocation service estimates an approximate city so we can count scans. No IP address is stored.

We do not embed third-party trackers, social media pixels, ad frames, or session-recording tools anywhere on this site. Our social links are plain links, not embedded widgets.

Do Not Track

There is nothing for us to honor differently, because we do not track you across sites in the first place.
